Tuesday Night Drinking Thread- What You Got?

All I can add here are Tuesday night cocktailing recollections from a time and land far, far away.

1 tumbler
4-5 ice cubes (store bought)
Fill to the rim with Famous Grouse (affectionately referred to as Abrasive Grouse)
Consume
Repeat as necessary or unnecessary for that matter

Grolsch reminds me of the summer.

No drinking for me since last Friday nite. My favorite drink is Tanqueray and Tonic followed by a nice Whiskey Sour. If I have to be drinking beers, I like Heinekens or other imports (although a nice bottle of Bud is good too)

(Hey when a lot of you guys were 20, drinking age was 18 !)

My wife broke out the eggnog. I broke out The Glenlivet 12.

Good choice sir, I just broke out The Glenlivet 12 as well... I had a fairly crazy dental surgery last night and I just saw it, yeesh. One drink sounded nice to settle my nerves. And I figure the antiseptic qualities can't hurt either. :)

Currently have The Glenlivet 12, Johhnie Walker Green Label and Johnnie Walker Black Label. Trying to build a collection here.

What I got is hypertension and blood pressure that is astronomical. Cruel, cruel trick...I have a new bar in the basement and I can't drink. (180 over 110 is pretty bad)

Just picked up a four pack of Delirium Noel and a four pack of Scaldis Noel. One of each should be enough for a school night.

May I recommend The Glenlivet 18? The Lovely Blanche got me a bottle two Christmukkahs ago, and I break it out every now and again. Makes for good reflective sipping.

Yes you may, I was already planning on getting one of those from Bevmo, when I am able. I really want to try The Glenlivet Archive as well (21-40 year)... but that is about $140.

I have had the 15 year at a bar, served neat it was amazing.
