I think they should make a TT like that - stick two records on it, one plays then the other. Or maybe there's already something like that out there, who knows ?

2 EMT tables and I lost count on the number of 3012 arms, quit the collection.

Think we should all pitch in and get him a larger place?

Cool. Still, I'm glad I'm not him.

I am glad I stopped where I did. 5 tables was too much for me. I am down to 3, and hopefully will get down to two. One for good vinyl and one for casual listening. The question is which one do I get rid of between the modified AR XA/Galibier Serac/Technics SP10 MK II? Not sure I got a good answer to that one.

I don't get the whole buying multiple tables thing. Who needs 3 Dual 1019s? I can see having maybe 3 tables in a single room, anything else is overkill IMO.

With everyone suddenly 'getting back into' vinyl, I'm finding it hard to get one decent working table - let alone fill a room with them ! Prices here in NZ for turntables have gone through the roof - apprently, we're experiencing the second biggest vinyl resurgence in the world after the UK. Folks are paying silly dollars for units which had to be almost given away 12 months ago. I managed to pick up my Technics SL-QL1 for fifty bucks but I've already had to put another $40 into it because it needs the AN6680 control IC replacing.....not even get me started on the condition of the cartridge and stylus !
