Type AA Crossover Build Help

I am building up a pair of Type AA crossovers for My 1976 La Scala's and I have nearly all parts ready to go. Was looking to get started but l have one question... after looking at a lot of pictures of original and rebuilt AA xo's, there appears to be a bare wire that is daisy chained to each position on the terminal strip per the picture below. Am I seeing this correctly? Can anyone explain the function of this wire?TYPEE AA XO.jpg

That is the negative wire for all the connections. It's a kind of solid wire and easy to bend around the terminals. I'm trying to recall what I used when I built my AA's from scratch with new autoformers, caps. coils, etc.

thanks avguy.... figured it was something like that but couldn't find anything on it. I assume any solid hookup wire would work... probably about 20awg?

I think that's about what it was. One of the guys on the Klipsch forum sent me the wire and I would go back to see where he gets it from, but, the Klipsch Community site is down currently. It was about the gauge of a large paperclip.

Mind posting a schematic? I'm looking for a design that will tame some of the brightness without using a parallel resistor.
