I have in my collection an Ortofon ULM 165 cart with a damaged stylus and as I am not sure of the Ortofon line up, I was wonderung if anyone had any input that will help me decide the fate of this cartridge.

Been listening to a lot of 78's recently? some info here.....I'm in the middle of a diy TT with a cs-516 arm sans headshell and cart,IIRC , as the backbone.If you are going to pitch it let me know.

RP: The ULM65E (needle: DN165E) was the Dual branded version of the OM(B)10 - whereas the ULM66E was a higher compliant version equal to an OM(B) body with a needle 14. And the ULM68E was the Dual branded version of the OM(B)20, whereas the DMS750 was a lower compliance version of that and intended to be used on the heavier OPS arms.
