Here's a mini photo dump of the speakers and some of the other stuff, over the past few weeks. Been struggling with some medical...hmm "events' lately, so getting them home took way longer than expected.

The IV-A horns and tweeters look to be in great condition but didn't take close up pics, yet. The woofers were foam surrounds and disintegrated. It was like opening a time capsule getting to them.

The possible four BGW 250Ds was actually a 250D and a 250C, with some random metal boxes underneath of similar size.

It took 3 truck runs to get it all home over two weeks. The rest of the stuff was theater lighting, wiring, random mixers, and consoles.

Still on the fence whether to see it through and bring it all back to life, or leave it to the next person to do so. The recent medical stuff and space being the major factors to that decision. Right now, my front room looks like a theater's storeroom! Also, don't have a game plan yet on how to make the big boxes into something less utilitarian, and match the proposed room they would be placed. I guess the answer will be in the next thread...Either DIY or Barter Town.

Yeah they are currently...affordable. Main reason my interest was piqued. But after reading about them...I want. . Would a bid around 300 be pretty safe if I assume the woofers need to be refoamed, a driver or two need replacing, and I had to spend $100 in gas to get them? I figure, for that price, I can come out even if they are more than a weekend project.

The pictures for them show that the bass cabs, horns, tweeters, and crossovers are there and assembled. Cosmetically, they are dusty and the bass cabinets front corner edges have scuffs and flaked paint. They have four eyelets so they possibly hung in the same place for a long time. They look like they've been stored for the last 20 years and were put away for a renovation/upgrade rather than repair. I'd include pics but they all have watermarks to the website...

IF I COULD GET THEM FOR $300, I'D TAKE SEVERAL PAIRS...! IF THEY ARE (IN AVERAGE WORKING COND) PROBABLY WORTH $800 AND UP... THEY HAVE TO SOUND GREAT BEING THEY ARE SIMILAR TO THE EV INTERFACE D's. YES THE SIZE IS A CONSIDERATION, BUT THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE WHO CAN EASILY ACCOMMODATE THEM...HOPE YOU GOT THEM....BUT IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME.
