RCA and JVC, just to name a couple.
Any stereo vcr should have them. They are (were) pretty common.
Check your local craigslist.com, and you may find one that someone is giving away free.

Ok thanks. The only one I saw recently was on a completely destroyed toploading VCR. Cant wait to watch my Metallica Live VHS through my 3700!

Sheesh, I pass up stereo VCR's by the truckload on yard-sale-Saturdays. Each one for $1 or so. I would think it'd be easy to find one.

Really I havent seen em. Over the summer I have picked up four or five VCRS, all that video, mono stuff. I guess I should just open my eyes some more.

Make sure you get a 6-head model - it'll have a much better picture and audio. In my experience the older models were built much better and will last a lot longer with a better picture.

I have a Ferguson monster from the late 80s and it's in perfect working order today. The sound is much better than any modern machine I've heard.

The Thrift Stores are full of working Hi-Fi VCRs right now, usually under $10.
Sony and Panasonic seem to be decent quality.

Get them while you can!
