Warfdale Littons with a Sansui 9090

Looking at getting some new speakers. Looking for I guess I would call it new retro. These they say sound pretty good with classic rock. Specs say they are 6 ohm and my 9090 says works best with 8 ohm speakers like what I am now running. Is there any issues with damaging my receiver with these speakers? Has anyone heard these speakers in person?

I have heard a pair in Axpona a few years ago , they are on my list of speakers i am going to pick up . Wonderful .

The 9090 should have no problem with the Littons. Two pair might be an issue as the 9090 is rated to 4 ohms. No direct experience with the Littons but I never had a problem running a 6 ohm speaker with a vintage Japanese receiver. Personally ruled out the Littons because my wife would not have appreciated the retro look.

Thank you for the response. That is what I thought but I wanted to make sure. I have spent a lot of money refurbishing this wonderful receiver. I am looking for the retro/vintage look.
