So, thought you vinyl folks may appreciate this. This is what I started with. AR XA circa late '68, early '69. Figured I'd show you what it looked like before I get it done. It's sitting on top of one of the Dayton Audio UMax 15 flat packs I was building before I finished that cab.

Which one do you have? I still have not installed mine yet, and am using what came on it. And, since I have been in and out of a rut and exposing my current Heart addiction, I will post this vid that came up on autoplay on youtube via the audio output from the TV into the PS. (sounds pretty good!) . Hadn't seen this early performance before. It think it is pretty cool, and I love seeing artists when they are young and hungry, experimental and maybe a little raw.

Someday, I might need a 200w PS Audio amp! Or something similar. But the Hafler seems pretty good for now.
and yeah, the 6.1 had black paint and fit the theme of that system. So I figured it was ok and kept it. Lowly and all.
I use a wire, Have since my very first rig, Just get a good length, And up as far as you can, The boxes and tabletop antennas are lame AFAIC, I use a 75ohm T shaped wire that works well and was super cheap

I have this one. It's a powered antenna. Has an adjustable 'gain'. It's old. I've had it for at least 15 years. Works well for me though.

I saw Heart at the Yale Bowl in the very early '80's, along with The Little River Band , and The Eagles. Heart, IMO stole the show. They F'n rocked. They did a Led Zep medley that segued into "Rockin' Heaven Down" that was killer!

Don't know. There's no model number, product number, on it. I guess just search for Archer powered antenna and see what comes up.
Epic motor!!! Lol dang thing has an AC capacitor motor. How cool is that. If your not familiar with AC cap motors google them.
The bearing will be completely rebuilt. Need to get some packing grease this weekend. I have some lithium grease but not sure it will be thick enough for it. May try it.

So I think this thing comes with a different spindle for other countries voltage. Has a 50/60hz switch, also one for 110-220v. Really versatile table.

Have this "thing" hooked to my system...does it help?? I assume it makes some sort of difference....in the house I can pull in stations from New Orleans to Houston....or it just might be a damn good tuner!
