What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

Her is a pic of a legit columns back. Looks the same to me but covers may be copied exactly. Not the best way to tell after all. Dont suppose it came with vee jay inner sleeves? This is some fun detective work. Early Beatles stuff is complicated. Doesn't help that even legit versions are. Sketchy. Some have nothing on the back. :dunno:
No inner sleeve at all on mine. Record looks pretty beat up too. There were about 30 legit versions, many many counterfeits. Maybe I'll just declare it to be real, file it away, and let the grandkids figure it out in 25 years.

I would say that with the info you provided it's legit. Obviously i could be wrong and it could be a really good fake. Regardless it was a great find for a buck and i am glad you posted it. I learned a lot and if i ever see one will know how to spot obvious fakes.

I just listed my new purchases in a thread on a similar forum so I'll share my sickness here just for S&G

Get the new one while you still can. The previos three are all out of print and very expensive. I had to settle for compact disc for As Above, So Below.
It's still outstanding, but it's a CD.

IIRC the lp press of this was around for years and had a fairly high pressing amount. It was on clearance for awhile too.

Just broke the seal on this Russell’s Reserve 10 year. I like it a lot more than I had expected. Has a bit of spice to it but it’s not to crazy.

Took a few days off, rented a house out in Napa for the next few days. Just needed to get away do a few days. House is nice, bourbon is good and slow cooking som tri-tip now. Just finished some chicken kababs as a starter. Have some garlic going too for some cheese and garlic. Have some purple onion and asparagus going to be thrown on too.

This bourbon is rather nice, one that is good for BBQin.
Ciao JJ :)
