What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

The Ottawa region fairs no better. I live 50km outside the nations capital in a rural community and a house like mine sold for 450. About 100K over asking and the place didn't have near the upgrades I've put into my place in the past 15 years. Prices are nuts. My tax appraisal is a 325.
We started our business in the brutal 1979 recession. Basically it was the start of the end of Ontario's manufacturing and I can remember the only place where stuff like appliances were being sold was in Ottawa. It was recession proof at that time and the difference in the discretional spending when we went up their to bar hop in Ottawa and Hull was like night and day to places like Toronto and Hamilton. Toronto was wealthy for sure but not for the average joe at that time, Now it's becoming like London. You either have a lot of money or you are on social benefits. No other way anymore for a young person starting out to live here. Hell $75K/yr qualifies a single person to go on the affordable housing waitlist

0.25% prime rates? :dunno: Half the homes in this town go unused.. beautiful places, not necessarily big, i ride by everyday, never seeeing anyone there, wondering how awesome my sound system would sound in the big room :rflmao:
Better than the seldom used Air B&B Bose or 1990's Yamaha RX receiver, blu-ray and plastic speaker system I bet :p
:rflmao:Nice. You should do a little squatting around.

I have actually thought of moving down to your area but like you said a lot of Toronto is way ahead of me. Certainly a slightly nicer climate than Toronto even if a bit more humid in the summer

I feel like RGIII is capable of getting a win for them. I could be wrong though.

He had a couple shots at backup this year but he was pretty ineffective. If Lamar is off his game I see the Ravens losing , and possibly big. But if he's allowed to do what he excels at he could shut he door on the Bills by the 3rd quarter. Either way I see this game as a dead even pick one.

Evening fellow AKer's! :bye: Hope everyone's had a good week. Haven't had much time to listen to anything this past week except for a couple of discs when an opportunity to exercise. Not much online time either. Glanced at the thread for a couple of minutes a couple of days and as usual, good banter and great tracks.

The 2 discs I was able to enjoy were:

I've been in and out here tonight. The family has been my focus , but I see myself having more time for tunes. My brothers sons are doing the heavy lifting and I think I need to worry about me for a bit. Not being selfish minded , just that I need some normal.
Well any way ..

Back from a Menards run. Was in need of 6mm nuts. Big purchase.

Ok have to thank @Space Ritual for this one
Just cracked it open, first spin.

I use to play Say What You Will in the mid 80's with a band called PSYCH.
I always liked that tune and rarely if ever hear it when 80's metal is played on a radio block or a DJ spun 80's situation.
