I received word today that my other grandfather passed away last night. He was over 100, and lived a good life. He served honorably in the Navy during WW2, and will be missed by many.

Sorry for your loss. Sadly, soon there will be no WWII vets alive. My grandfather, A CPO in the USN, served from 1937-1945 initially in the Asiatic Fleet. Sadly he passed away in 2017. I'm so happy to have all of his writings from that period.
