I'm going to post this here simply because this is one of the most active threads.
This is not a complaint by any means, I actually found this amusing. An eBay seller has a parts unit listed for 175.00 (Fisher TFM300). I inquired about the possibility of buying the transformer from him, meaning he would need to remove it and make me an offer. He seemed fine with doing it but dragged his feet for days until I contacted him once more. I will not get into the entire conversation, but what it came down to - he told me it would take him 3 hours to remove the transformer. My jaw dropped when I read that. I simply wrote back that the transformer would take 5 minutes to remove, unless you didn't have thumbs, then maybe 15 minutes to do the job. Unreal!

The transformer I inquired about.
To keep this post on topic - starting this weekend I am going to listen to my Robin Trower collection in chronological order. So, I will be posting nothing but Trower for a couple weeks.
