someone was in this unit before and reused 2 of them. :dunno: those came out fine.

i've got the hardware to remount everything without nylon screws and have started. i'm torn as to what to use for outputs. i don't have recommended outputs but i do have what the previous tech used and they didn't blow up so i dunno ...i guess its cheap enough i can experiment and if i blow it up, i can fix it after i buy the proper transistors from mouser.

i dunno yet. i wish i wouldn't have bought it now.

If you're a fan of BST, check out the documentary "What The Hell Happened to Blood Sweat And Tears?" In a nut shell, it chronicles a tour by the band behind The Iron Curtain arranged by the US State Department. It's an interesting look back at the bands intention to bring modern music to the people in Communist controlled Countries and the back lash from the Counter Culture in the U.S. Some very scary situations as well...

balance pot epoxied and pressed back together. it tracks fine. have to let the epoxy bake on a monoblock.

not the ideal repair as i could put no tooth on the plastic or metal for the epoxy to bite into but as long as it's not pulled on, i see no reason it shouldn't last.
