i've personally wanted the sb7000s(the slot ported version) for a long long time but i don't have the proper room for them.

me too, I have a set of SB-5000a's and love them, the 7000's have been on my must have list for a long time, the only set I have seen around me was in the used section of a hi-fi shop and they wanted crazy money for them because they were mint and had boxes and manuals.
