to my friends. I'm back from visiting my daughter overnight. It was a successful visit with her and my grandson. It was a surprise to him and squealed when he saw me. It was great. I helped him build is new Spiderman themed lego. 
On the way back, we stopped at Value Village in Pembroke and I got these CDs

Was driving today listening to Sirius XM "First Wave" 80's music and almost broke my finger stabbing the OFF button on my car radio the moment I heard Morrissey's voice.

In the meantime while I’ve got the next hour off until the end of the day, I remembered I had these Boston Acoustics A60 I’ve been meaning to learn how to refoam and possibly recap, for when another friend gets his setup back together. These were my FILs and he gave me the Celestions which were his step dads, so it’s nice to bring it full circle
Check out the dry rot, this foam literally disintegrates to the touch!
I’ll order a refoam kit on payday…just cleaning them up for now.
I hope they sound decent when all is said and done. Heck, maybe if the foaming kit comes first I’ll be using them until the Celestion drivers come? Who know

it definitely is an intense piece of music!The first time I listened to Bitches Brew, in the spring of 1970 (late one evening at the home of an older friend of mine who was heavily into jazz,) and that listening blew my mind, the next day I got the feeling that the world had changed in a remarkable way.
I replied I had DL8's earlier in my life, BUT they were SL8's in reality... doh!

Patience and a flathead screwdriver plus isopropyl seem to be getting the job done on the old foam glue/gunk
