what causes a Sansui Ca-F1 preamplifier to blow my power amplifiers?

Thanks to you all for your advice. I took my preamp to Fred from Classic Audio Repair today. Will post update when I get word from the shop. Thanks you all.

I have not heard from Classic Audio Repair with an update on my preamp. I am also curious as to what the problem with the preamp is. I will post an update as soon as I hear from the shop. Thanks to you all.
 
I finally got a call from the repair shop today. He said the problem is in the right channel.Oscillating. The estimate was for $110.00 plus the $40.00 I already had put towards it. I will definitely post exactly what was done to repair it when I receive it and what the exact problem was. Thank you all.

I got a call today from the repair shop. I will be picking it up this Saturday and I will post what they did to repair it. Thanks everyone.
 
sansui ca-f1 blowing up amplifiers

Ok fellow AK'ers, the verdict is in! The problem was due to 5 Mhz oscillation. Replaced two capacitors .001uF/630v in main preamp section. The caps replaced were clear with what looks to be aluminum in the center and the bottom is orange. The caps have the following written on them 182J and 2B . Super98lsc was right on about the oscillation. Mech986 Fred said hi back to you! Thanks to all of you for your help and support! I have my ca-f1 connected right now to a Thorens td-160s MkIV loaded with a Sure V15 tupe3 and a jico SaS stylus, amp is a modified Hafler Dh-220 and some Snell CV speakers. Sounds great! The best part is my amp has not blown. Thanks again everyone.
