What cigar are you enjoying with your tunes?

The Warden and I were in the Tampa/St. Pete area for a wedding and we made our way over to Ybor City. Stopped at the La Faraona factory in Ybor City and found a cool lounge in John’s Pass (Treasure Island Area) called Cuban Paradise that rolled their own sticks. I've had a couple of these Cigar Paradise Honor and Tradition and both were very good. I haven’t tried the La Faraona yet. We had a great lunch at The Columbia Restaurant Food and cocktails were great and the atmosphere was amazing. One of the other major highlights was the Salvador Dali museum in St. Pete. Absolutely fantastic.

Nice! Next time take the tour of the JC Newman cigar factory. Well worth it.

Cuban sandwich?
Dali's non-surrealistic work is excellent. Most only know his (equally wonderful) later work.
Yes! The Tampa Cuban which includes salami in addition to the ham and pork. I’ve never had one with salami before. Agreed, Dali’s early impressionist work and post-surrealistic work was fantastic and basically unknown to me.

We've been by the Teatre-Museu Dali in Figueres on the train, bus & car, but never time to stop in. Plan to fix that this spring. Will also be going thru Dali's 'center of the universe' which is La Gare de Perpignan. It's not that impressive.

La Faraona skinny box-pressed torpedo with Habano wrapper. Very nice smoke. Starting to feel like spring here in CT and getting more patio time.

Ferio Tego Summa Toro is one of my favorite sticks.

I just completed restoring this Dunhill Rollagas lighter that I picked up for $20. Yes, $20!

I also picked up the ashtray at an antique shop and cleaned that up as well. It was missing some of the hanging crystals but those were readily available on Etsy.

I haven't had Newcastle in years. Might have to pick up some.
