What Did I Do Wrong?

I posted a thread http://audiokarma.org/forums/index....a-2-30-steelers-playing.738368/#post-10002377 and it got locked--for what reason, I don't know. It was never meant to be political or religious (and no side/organization was picked), just observing an inappropriate timing occurrence on a Sunday afternoon. My intention was never to offend anyone or step over "the line", and I think that I worded it correctly and succinctly. Just wondering why it got locked, and what I did "wrong" so I can avoid this in the future?

I don't think it was anything you did. It looked to me like it was on the verge of going political. :dunno:

In most cases, the mod who does the locking provides some kind of explanation. Odd that it didn't happen here.

I count 2 posts with political content in the closed thread - reason enough. (check out post #11)

This thread is likely to go the same way, for discussing the decision of a Mod in open forum.

Yes questioning a mods decision publicly is frowned upon.

" All questions on AK policy, moderation or staff members must be addressed via AK's Private Message function to a moderator or admin "

I closed this because it opened the door to politics. And in the future, if you wonder what happened to a thread, please contact a moderator or admin in a private conversation rather than posting about it in the forums. And are we extra-sensitive to politics now? Yes.
