I came across this photographer's work today. With the help of AI, he has imagined what these people might have looked like if they were alive today. (And in MJ's case, had not had plastic surgery)
I find it kind of fascinating.

I think the Michael Jackson one was pretty interesting, but it's if he hadn't had all the plastic surgery, so it's kind of in a different category.

I think their AI is being way too generous with they way they would look now. Here are a couple of reality checks. Grace Slick was about as beautiful as the came back in the day and this photo was from 6 years ago after makeup. I'm not even 60 and I scare myself in the morning mirror sometimes.

Well, I'm thinking that they are going to look old, because the oldtimers are (or would be if they had lived that long) old.

I don't need any damn AI to help me visualize how they look. I just have to look in the mirror and extrapolate.

The algorithms being used in the aging software are getting better all the time. I remember the early software even 10 to 12 years back was pretty bad.

The earliest required a complicated "ocular digital interface" (someone had to look at an image of a young person, imagine what they might look like now and use their hands and fingers to make a drawing)
