The best thing I bought last is some German Sauerkraut at Aldi's. Their beef Stew ain't too shabby either, for a quick meal.

These will be deep fried. In a gallon bag I put whole wheat flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. Dump half in the bag, drained of course and shake. Drop them in a 350° deep fryer for 3 to 5 minutes. Depends on how big they are, and repeat. Drain on paper towels. Put em in a bowl and splash with hot sauce.

Ingredients for dinner with the GF last night. Sliced chorizo with cheese on sourdough along with some garlic and oil pasta with some sliced olives thrown in.
