What is your art? Can you show it?

and share the work here, or course
Finally got around to uploading these. They were all composed in the mid-late '80's, and recorded at a studio in the early '90's. Please excuse the mistakes (in notes and timing).
Clicking on soundcloud will take you to my home page. Clicking on view all will show the album. The order of composition is from the bottom up.

Time to revive this thread. I've been working on a series of colored pencil drawings dealing with the state of the world. This drawing is called Noman. I used a snowman because it represented the good things in the world: security, peace and camaraderie. I feel we are losing the simple values from the time I grew up and it will eventually mean the end of mankind if we don't start working together. Snowman becomes no man left on earth,

Hey how ya doin' Bob. This ^^ is a nice composition. About the human face~head ... is this a self-portrait representation or ...?

@Mystic- Doing okay. Chemo is working well and I'm feeling much better. Energy level is way up so I can get back to working on my art. I have several pieces starting up in the next week.

The head is not me. It is this "everyman" that I found in a college medical textbook from the early 60s. It caught my eye and I use him all the time, kind of a common thread through my art. Here's an illustration of him.

I am working on a self portrait that documents all the medical procedures I"ve been through over the last year. It's titled Bob but the first B will be crossed off and J added, making it Job. I have felt like Job this year and doing my art has helped me through it and given me a purpose to keep going.

to artistry of any form,...
I am a retired faux finishing specialist, and fine home finishing expert. I have two homes featured in Architectural Digest magazine, in 1987, and another a year or two later. One home was a magazine cover, and featured article. The other home was a featured article. Each home was 15k sq.ft., and on the beach in Laguna Beach - Emerald Bay.
These people wanted to be seen.

We also built, and, finished a home, on 150 acres of Orange County land, estimated to be around 150 million dollars, of the most exquisite finishing that can be imagined. Mansions just start to describe this one. American castle, perhaps more fitting.
These people didn't want to be seen.

I mentioned this particular project early in this thread. Then, recently, I found this listing on Zillow (real estate and home sales site) for this same home. I was left guessing its value for decades, up until I found this recent link. Now listed at $125,000,000

Cameras were not allowed on this property. Being caught with one was immediate cancelling of contract. So, me being a non-photographer, I don't have my own pics,... these will have to do.

What did I do?
I was the fine finishing superintendent. When the framing was done, i took over, and, we started into the finest, most exquisite finishings possible. Money was no object, and large invoices were not worrying to them. They wanted the finest, and we gave it to them (well, hardly just given).

Features:
24k sq.ft main home on 150 acres of the finest land in southern Orange County,
This man owned most of the land that Rancho Santa Margarita city was built on, and he developed most of it. Money -> no object.

16k sq.ft car barn that was built to house his newly acquired car collection, The Harrah Car collection.
This place had parking spaces for all the cars. It had an automated drive thru car wash, and, an apartment for the mechanic.

Helipad
Equestrian rink and stables

Multiple ponds, which at one point, we created a creek as a return flow from the ponds filters. In the winter and spring, the stream was stocked with trout for his grandkids. But, I see in the pictures now, that the stream was removed or renovated into something that I do not recognize.

Interior:
solid plaster walls, and, with crown moulding and other plaster trim that were poured on site by Italian plaster masters that were brought over for the job.
All of the trim work wood was of the finest grade, with lots of solid walnut.

This first pic features the 16k sq.ft car barn in the foreground.
All of the orange groves are part of this property (from hard left and hard right of image). It extends downward to the main road that is marked by the dark green strip at the right side of the property just beyond the ponds. I live just beyond the furthest mountain ridge high point on the right.

Then,.... on a different job, a scaffold collapse, and a 30' fall took me out of the trades with herniated discs in my neck and upper back, dislocated right thumb and shoulder from trying to check my fall of 30'
