I made something work yesterday though i don't know how valuable it is. I was able to stream tidal through my phone, into a a micro usb adaptor to a usb DAC and play as a regular line source. I'm reasonably sure while i subscribe to Lossless and get through the computer to the DAC, i suspect going the route i just described is at a lower resolution. Does anybody know or at least point me in the right direction to find out? I wouldn't use at home, but i'd consider it on an outing. I'm just looking to keep my options open. If it matters its a samsung s7 and i used an app called USB Audio Player Pro
