MC275 circa 1969 manufacture date. Replaced original diodes and rectifiers with HEXFREDS...
what value and wattage resistor for power dropping? I'm running 40 - 50 volts high.

Check the power transformer hi/low line tap, if it is on the low line position move it to the high line and you will drop B+ just about the perfect amount.
