Hey guys just wondering what's on your vintage lust list? For me it's a Nikko NR-1415 a Rotel RX-1603 and some AR-9's. Those are the main ones along with about 50 others. Try to keep it under 30 or 40 items.
Studer A80
EV Sentry III's or IVB's
EV Sentry 500's
EV Sentry 100A's (the Crest 1001A below took mine out :tears: )
McIntosh Monoblocks (any model)
Bozak Concert Grands
Single EV Patrician IV
Stanton 881 or better with NOS stylii
Garrard 301
Thorens TD-124
16" Gray tonearm
Gates CB500 TT
Technics SP-10mkIII w/ EPA-500
A high end Denon DD TT
Really nice digital active crossover
RCA tube stereo mixing console
...more room to use my stuff...
On the "have, but needs service" list:
HH Scott 272, mint, in wood case with brass knobs
H/K Citation II
Sony TAN-8550 (works, but I don't trust it)
Otari MTR-12-2 w/timecode track
Ampex AG-351 full track mono
Ampex AG-440B-2 (I have two, one works, one needs some TLC)
Yamaha P-2200
Crest 1001A
...probably more...
In the practical/possible realm, Infinity RS 1.5 speakers.
I have the Infinity Reference Studio Monitors and wonder how much the Watkins woofer in the 1.5's adds to the sound.
In the dreaming realm, some of the larger classic Infinitys.
Not much maybe another pair of DQ10s. I'd love a pair of Sony SS-M9 speakers although they hardly qualify as vintage. Some nice vintage tube gear would always be welcome.
A pair of EICO HF-35 monoblocks or a Bogen DS225 would do me nicely (need to see if they live up to the hype). Also a Garrard 301 or 401 with a nice 12" tonearm could be interesting...
