What was the last movie you watched?

I treated my girlfriend to a movie on yesterday, which happened to be my B/Day. She has been so good to me, I just had to do something for her.

She suggested we see "Armored." Well, I was not pleased with it, but she liked it. It had some action points at times, but pretty boring to me.

The theme does one thing good & that is to convey the message to live your life by the straight & narrow.

Rome

American Movie

Won at Sundance in 98'

About a guy in Milwaukee trying to make his dream of being a filmmaker come true. Its hilarious, but its also really touching. Its about doing something even if you aren't the best, even if no one believes in you and even if you know you aren't going to go pro just because you can't imagine doing anything else.

See it.

Watched a couple yesterday and was disappointed in both..

Johnny Depp's "Public Enemies" didn't do much for me at all, but then again I like gangster films and maybe I expected more than I should have from this one.

And I also watched the acclaimed "There Will Be Blood" with Daniel Day-Lewis and found it tedious at times. Lewis is a tremendous actor, but his character did nothing for me, as did the most of the film. Way too many long pauses from many characters.

I just watched "Being There" with Peter Sellers again the other day for the umpteenth time. I watch it every 2-3 years as I find it to be a true classic. It's as insightful and funny today as it was the day it was released.

What movie did I last watch .

I watched the movie " The Machinist " and also the Terminator 4 Movie . I liked the T4 movie even thought some reviews were not that good . I Think it had alot of action and very good special Fx in it . I rate T4 as A+++++ and The Machinist as a very good movie as well .

I watched The Hurt Locker and District 9 the other day. Fantastic movies! I just saw today that both are up for Oscars. District 9 just blew me away, after spending a few weeks in South Africa earlier this year. The Alien/Apartheid comparison is a really interesting theme for a Sci-Fi movie.

two really good movies to see one after an other.

It (d9) reminded me of the story "The Metamorphosis" at times.

Last Movie: The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnasis.

I watched a movie about a guy who haunted garage sales and thrift shops buying old jazz and blues records. My wife stared at me.

American Splendor.

" The Machinist "

Great movie.

I finally got to see "Control", the movie about Ian Curtis of Joy Division. Very sad, but very good movie. Also "Cannibal! The Muical" aka "The Story of Alfred Packer". Trey Parker made this in 1993 in college and it just got released a year or so ago. Great if you're a fan of South Park.
