What was the last movie you watched?

A wonderful classic!

The Thing With Two Heads.
Svengoolie.
Ray Milland/ Rosie Greer.
Interesting premise of a bigot's head sharing the body of a condemned black convict to survive terminal cancer of his own body.
Plot holes and other distractions aplenty, and a gratuitous car chase that goes on and on and on and on.

(2022)

Well, I enjoyed the couple of hours I spent with John Wick of Finland. Actually, the content of this film was more @ the vein (no pun intended) of The Man With No Name, even down to the landscape / settings and The Bad Guys.

PS: The main character's "first kill" in this one is a real humdinger.

Minamata (2020) War photographer W. Eugene Smith travels back to Japan where he documents the devastating effect of mercury poisoning in coastal communities.
As usual Johnny Depp is excellent! Based on a true story.Tragic.

Koyaanisqatsi (1982) - Godfrey Reggio

Watched two thirds a couple days ago and finished today. Didn't have the same impact as when I saw it 40 years ago on the big screen. Probably due more to my being 28 then than the smaller (52") screen now.

Pushover (1954) Fred MacMurray.

Absolutely great Film Noir, with a complicated plot and plenty of twists and turns. It definitely shares some DNA with Double Indemnity, with MacMurray led astray by a beautiful blonde (Kim Novak in her film debut).

I watched this not too long ago, but it holds up to repeat viewings.

I believe this was supposed to be a series, but got prematurely got cancelled.
Wild Palms - it was pretty edgy stuff in its day (1993).
AI in the receiver allowed you to participate in the stories being played in VR in your home, 2 "political groups" competing to control the country as they see fit.
Kinda standard conspiracy stuff, but well done.
Maybe the best stuff James Belushi has done - since his cannabis farmer series on Discovery is pretty ludicrous. (Growing Belushi just finished season 3).
