What's the deal with these Chinese speakers on Amazon?

Now you mention stolen intellectual property, meaning, Hacked or as I always said Backward engineered. You also said that there's a difference between something designed and engineered here and in PRC But if China could backwards engineer an item for a fraction of the cost, I'd like to know how long can legit companies afford to go through the process of doing research when it can easily be copied?
Herein lies the problem. Many times there is no backwards engineering, they will make the copied products on the same assembly line with a new enclosure.

The first speakers in the OP look suspiciously like a knock-offs of Sony ss cpx 22 speakers.

I have a pair of Micca COVO-S coaxial speakers I use for a desktop 2.1 system. They work very well in this role and are very well made. Especially considering I bought them new for $41 four years ago.
