Going' alone, life is your own, but the cost sometimes is dear.
being complete, knowing defeat, keeping on from year to year.
it takes some doing, monkery's the blues you hear, keeping on from year to year.

Life is a school, less' your a fool, but the learning brings you pain.
knowing at once, you're just a dunce, trail and error loss and gain.
it takes some doing, monkery's a slow slow train, trail and error loss and gain.

Finding your one Place in the sun, Doesn't come the easy way
Shallow or deep, Nothing is cheap, Measured by the dues you pay
It takes some doing, Monkery's a blue highway, Measured by the dues you pay.

Gospel—Porter Wagoner and the Blackwood Brothers Quartet.—1966 RCA Dynagroove pressing. Porter Wagoner’s love for gospel dates back to early childhood when his brother and two sisters were a featured attraction at every revival all over Howell, Missouri. This gospel LP is amazing as the Blackwood Brothers Quartet is one of the most musically accomplished groups in all of gospel. This is Porter’s first gospel album for RCA.

I also listened to Miles Davis Tutu the other night. Had never heard it before. I liked it. Especially the title track.

Uriah Heep Magicians Birthday

I always listen to the entire albums. I've told my son that it's heresy not too so I have to put up or shut up :D

Including the bonus cuts!

Sorry to hear they're done ... Gonna miss those two ... exceptional harmonies!

Which brings up a corollary question ...

How many are now listening to a full album due to the power of suggestion? <G>

And ... judges decision ... does it count as a full album if you skip the tracks that suck?
