RF(radio frequency) linear amplifier is my guess, maybe a kit, some of the older HAM operators here might recognize it and possibly what bands it might cover.

It would have a significant power transformer, but i'm not sure much of anything else, maybe the power tubes might be good for audio. Once upon a time i has a Kris "Boomer" 60 watt 10 meter amplifier that used a pair of 6L6's, so i suppose there's a remote possibility that it could have some valuable tubes in it as well.

In that case, it's probably appropriately priced.

It's probably a bargain to that small niche that would have use for it. Depending on what the tubes are and how they'd test, it might be worth it just for the tubes.

Tube linear amps are good donors for audio amp projects if you can find (2) the same. They usually have PP octal power tubes & 9P sockets as well. Some of them like EICO's, used EL34's. It is a matter of yanking off the modulation transformer, adding a compatible output transformer & rewiring -
