No, just my continuous battle against garbage and mediocrity in this good ol' USA. And, based on the posts, of course I'm losing. Also hated ADAM 12.

I liked the one where Ponch has trouble breathing. They take him to the ER and the doctor tells him his uniform is too tight. :D
 
hmmm, being 37 as I post this I really don't remember the show that much! I do I watched reruns, but I was kinda more into dukes o hazard n the boys pissing of the sheriff in Chickasaw county or ol saw mill rd

Not sure. It was literally 35 years ago if not more.

The whole thing was a contest between Ponch and his old rival for the souls of the kids. Of course, they themselves end up going at it in a full blown Karate fight at the end.

Who do ya think won?
 
How about the "freeze frame" endings !
And all the freeway traffic going 30.
And how the bikes would chase cars (or even big trucks) for miles before catching up ..
 
I remember one with a fundraiser party or something where Ponch sang "Celebration".

I remember one where they were monitoring the gas that each officer used. The gang was adding gas to the Sgt's car so it looked like he was using less and then siphoned some off. Don't remember the main theme of the episode though.

I liked the one where Ponch & Jon horse around, make fun of the sorta doofus cop, the Cap'n gets mad at 'em, & the cute blonde cop struts around lookin'.... Cute ? But they all make up at the end of the show... Oh, yeah, that's almost every episode..
 
I recall one where Ponch & John have to train two female rookies who would have had no problem finding model work for Playboy or Victoria's Secret. Ponch and his trainee get showered with mud or something and have to clean up at his pad. Both take showers and then the girl (wrapped in a towel) kisses Ponch (dressed in his short robe).

Incredibly, Ponch pushes her away citing professionalism and needing a cold shower.

I still remember what that women looked like. There is no way any man- especially a young and unattached player like Ponch- could have refused in that situation.
 
Lot of memories coming back.

There was that one where the kid was firing his pellet gun in to traffic.

And the rivalry between the surfers and the guys from the Valley.
