Which Klipsch Kg is this?

Hi
Can anyone help me figure out what Klipsch speakers these are?
There is usually a label on the back of most Klipsch with model info serial numbers, or something. One of these has the label removed completely and the other almost gone!

The partial label looks like ot says Kg, but is torn off after that.

FWIW, they are 19"X13"X10.75".

No passive woofer and no ports.

The woofer looks like an 8".

That's what I thought, but the KG2's I've found have passive radiators, which these do not.
I also read some early Kg2's were ported, which these are not.
I wondered if they were phonies, but the drivers look like Klipsch.
 
They are KG2s (early variant.)

EDIT: Sorry but I meant to say they are KG1's. Oops. Not sure about the terminals though, I agree they don't look right.
More research is necessary.

Apparently the 10" PR was on the rear which is discussed here:

But that sure looks like the right front side including the red tweeter diaphragm which is also visible at the above link.

But Klipsch wouldn't use that type of barrier terminal strip in the 80s-90s would they?

So this may be something else? Or a home brew using Kg 2 parts.

I wondered if they are home brewed. If so, they sure did a good job on the cabinets fit and finish and the dimensions are spot on for K2's.
No PR or ports, though.
FWIW, early K Horns used barrier strips somewhat like this, but they are a pretty distant relative to these babies.
I wonder why some previous owner removed one label entirely and most of the other.
 
Early kg2s did not have a passive radiator...they should be early kg2s...The white polypropylene cone of the woofer should be a sign you have kg2 or kg4s...the first, original two
In the Klipsch Gillum line...

Ah, I wondered about the stamp.

Probably the adhesive just failed on the labels or they got damaged in moving, etc. Normally people don't tear things off, they come off some other way.

I bought my kg2s in 1989 so I have the rear passive radiators...I have added BECToo on this Forum (Bob Crites) titanium tweeter diaphragms and more recently updated crossovers...nice sounding speakers
