AU-20000 or AU-X1 ?
These are Sansui top of the line integrated amplifiers. AU-20000 initial lunching price = Japanese Yen 280,000. AU-X1 = Yen 210,000.
The biuld quality seems like AU-20000 is better, but how about their sonic performance ?

At that level of performance, would a human ear be able to tell the difference? I ask this because those are both relatively late-model high-end amps, right? I mean, by definition, wouldn't that mean completely transparent?

But then, I've never felt that differences in good amps are anywhere close to being on the same scale as they are in say, speakers...
