Which Amp should I use to power my Dq-10's? I have a Spec 4 (150 watts) and a Spec 2 (250 watts) Which one is best for the mains and which is best for the Subs (2 DQ-1w) with a Dq-LP1 crossover? I know that the higher power amp should be used with the subs, But I am thinking about sonic quality more them pounding bass.

The only way to tell anything sonicly is to listen cridicly. I would suggest over a couple of days with each to let your ear "settle in" to see if there is any difference that you can ascertain. The old stereo store "A B" test "click click which one do you want" is not the way to determine. You should listen for a time with each using the same source, then make your own decision.

whichever way it sounds the best ? I agree on the a/b testing. I stopped doing that as I often came away with the wrong impression - for me, only way to really determine which way I prefer it is by giving it a good listen, say a week or so, and then swapping it and trying again.
