Hello,

I bought a NAD 314 today and now i like to know what sort of speakers will mach to this amp.

I will use them in my office and i will hook this up to my computer, so speakers don't have to be to big.

I looking for second hand speakers and my budget is around 150 Dollars.

Thanx

Robbie

I owned a 304 years ago, with Paradigm Mini monitors and PSW800 (?) subwoofer. Great little amp, almost exactly the same as the 314.
Just one of many options I'm sure.

Some 20 years ago I auditioned and bought PSB Alpha bookshelf speakers and NAD amp. I really like the sound and definition at the time and never sold the speakers, although I'm not using them for years.
I had them on heavy stands but these are, supposedly better on shelf, close to the wall. There was the second version of the speaker but I had no chance to listen them.
Try to hear them if you can.
Good luck

Yeah, I'd look for a pair of used PSBs, Paradigms, Sound Dynnamics, Energy or similar.

What city do you live in? Maybe we could look over your craigslist and try to find something decent for ya.

I've owned a 304 and 314. The dealer at the time also sold Psb, Klipsch, and Clements speakers, among others. I bought a pair of Clements 107di- 2-way ported with 6.5" woofer and 3/4" tweeter- and stands to set them on. When I traded up for the 314, I continued using the Clements.

When I was a child....I broke my grandma's console. I replaced its replacement all-in-wonder Ward's stereo with a NAD 312 and a pair of Psb Alpha Mini speakers (along with a used Project One turntable with Grado Black cartridge). We loved that system.

I'd also check out Epos. A friend of mine uses a NAD 3020 with a pair of M12s.
