White Teeth

usedto

Lunatic Member
At 61 years old, the things that "float my boat" are becoming less and less in-your-face, and more mainstream, so to speak.

There was a time where mega-b(.)(.)bs, thanks to implants, caught my eye, but that soon dwindled. Botox never really did much for me (have you seen Linda Evans' lips recently?), and tattoos have always been a turn off.

But the one thing I see more and more of that really cracks me up is the (pardon me) women on these programs that have their teeth so artificially white that they can light up a room when the power goes out.

I, personally, like the "natural" look, within reason.

I guess age is just creeping up on me.

Rant over.

I've pretty much always preferred natural myself. Never quite understood why people want cookie cutter barbie doll replicant** looks.

** well unless the replicant is Daryl Hannah or Sean Young, but they looked pretty natural :)

Exceedingly bright, white teeth have become so common — and often so blinding — that people who undergo the bleaching and porcelain veneer procedures behind them should be required to hand out sunglasses before flashing a smile.

Ive always called them toilet bowl teeth...cuz thats exactly what they look like. In my opinion, toilet bowl teeth are just as bad looking as dark yellow/brownish teeth.

When I saw the title of this thread, I just knew it had to be about Lindsey Lohan and her crack-cocaine teeth. That, according to a recent article I saw on Yahoo, she had fixed again to appear straight and white. I am certain, however, that she has no clue what caused her once straight and white teeth, to fail the way they did. In the article she was whining that her gums were sore. I have always wondered how low her IQ actually is. :sigh:

I like to chew betel nut to improve my teeth.

:lmao:

That stuff --brilliant red color (gee, is that blood you're spitting out?) and potential gum destruction aside-- is truly addictive. I tried it a few times, and then had to use a LOT of willpower to walk away from it. The most effective way to go from tired and in need of sleep to clear-headed and up for hours more productive work, without stimulants and in just minutes, that I've ever found. Too bad about the addictive-ness and all the side-effects and ugly aspects of it. If you could capture the upside without the downside, you'd become a billionaire from it. Seriously!

Heh...I just take mine out and let 'em soak...

No, seriously. I was diagnosed with a genitic problem with my tooth enamal, it failed and got gradually wose over years of repair and restorative work. The uppers had to get yanked and I opted for the cheaper denture route. I did luck out and get a set that look pretty real.

But I had a choice in size and color when I got them...and could of gone for the artifical bleach white..but opted for the subtle natural white. The coffee by the end of the day takes care of that.
