Why I'm not upgrading to the Cornwall IVs

It's bonus time here so temptation rears its beautiful head.

Looking over my two systems, the most obvious upgrade path is to exchange my Forte IIIs for a pair of Cornwall IVs. Deeper base and a generally higher reputation from the reviewer makes this interesting.

But, do I have space in my apartment's rooms? So I made a template for the base size of the Cornwalls to see how they might fit in the real world.

Here's the results:

And in one spot in the Living Room:

(The other sides in both rooms are just as crowded for the larger Cornwalls.)

While my future home to be constructed in the Philippines would have space for the Cornwalls by design, I think I should pass here in this apartment in the UAE. Maybe I'll settle for upgrading the Forte IIIs for the Forte IVs.

it seems to me that the most obvious upgrade path is the Forte III to IV factory upgrade. however, I'll add that if I can fit LaScala clones into my small, 1500 sf condo, you have room for Cornwall.

You can upgrade the crossovers of your existing Fortes and still get a sonic benefit without changing the physical size. Lots of info online.
