WK-4 problem in zone B

Hello to all!
I have a Zone B via my MX119. Recently we had power surges/outages here (I have everything on a power conditioner). Now the controls on my WK-4 keypad won't work, although the time/back-light on the WK4 do. I can control the zone through my MX119, but would like to get the WK-4 working again- any suggestions?
i had similar problems on other zones in the house, but after starting them back up through their dedicated CR17, they now work.. this makes no sense to me- need some AudioKarma help here.

Ha! Pull the bad WK4 and substitute it for a working WK4 in the CR12 system. If it does not work in either it may need repair.

the nothing approach

So in my efforts to seek out another WK4, per your suggestion, the old WK4 suddenly began to work. I have no idea why this has occurred, hopefully "doing nothing" has resolved the problem.
 
You may want to check the connections on the rear. Sometimes these things just like a little attention.

The cat5 wiring that is used to connect the keypad have very fine wires and can cause issues. I had the same issue on my WK3 keypad and simply re-terminated the end and have not had the problem since.
