Would anyone like to share the artwork they have in their listening room?

Not a great photo but this is of a 1959 oil painting of a Jazz drummer. This shot was taken at night with very little light.

Nice picture and nice sign.

The room has changed a bit, but this 1965 oil from my father still resides in one of my rooms- it's the only shot I have at the moment.

Very nice, but it's the display case in corner that got my attention. You sir are a mad man collector of scientific calculators aren't you. That makes you a Super Nerd IIRC.

Let's see if you have any of my favorites:
TI SR50A (my first calculator)
Commodore SR1500 (my 2nd)
HP11C
and my newest and current calculator - HP15C

I still have my Picket log/log slide rule just in case I survive the EMP apocalypse and need to crunch some numbers.

Slide rule! What's that?!:D

I used to have one. I also had a set of drafting instruments, a table and a drafting machine.:smoke:

Ha! You noticed. This collection has been mostly liquidated now and actually spanned two cabinets. There was a TI-50, an 11C, and a 1500. Good eyes!

Tools of the engineer's trade. Ironically I didn't join the very successful family accounting business because I didn't want to crunch numbers all day. Did you know they still make the HP 12C? 1981 to present must be the all time financial calculator production run.

RPN RULES

Yessiree! My HP15C sciuentific I sold a couple of years ago for about 3x what I paid for it back at Cal in 1983. I started with a 33E followed by a 15c, 41CV, and 48G+. Though I'm thinking about buying a 50G, I mostly use Maple or Mathematica on a computer these days.

For some reason, I was not surprised. :D

Nice painting. From Dad, no less. :thmbsp:

My wife and I have stereos in every room, so every room is a listening room. And - we have quite a bit of music themed artwork, in addition to some eclectic pieces. So here are some:

A slide rule for the Jolly Green Giant (7 feet long):

Fast Eddie, in the game room, which doubles as both a vintage listening room, and a modern listening room:

Also in the game room, a string art 'sailboat' that my father made in the 1960's:
