Where`s the under wing bomb racks, Mr. model building detail, AKA philo426 ?
And wasn`t there a defensive swivel mounted gunner position in a pit on the front top of the nose, and one in the rear too ?
Just going from questionable memory here from long ago watched episodes of The Discovery Channel`s "Wings" !

building this as a kid in 68 was the inspiration for my current ride
The old $2.00 models eh
built a lot back in the day but I would have to say the most challenging was this the Hot Shot
later modified into the Super Shot
had to assemble the rear diff, transfer case, front diff gears etc, shocks down to the fluid, loads of fun lol.

man, that's weird, the Hot Shot seemed indestructible no matter what I did to it.
