XRT20 Speaker System Restoration (and questions)

I think the confusion stems from the article he wrote where the picture he posted has them on the outside but the same article says on the inside 8 inches from the cabinet and not more than one meter from the center. After talking to him I switched from outside to inside
My later model XRT-22s worked best with those similar physical placement settings, as well, even when I later had the tweeter line arrays mounted on my wall.
I ended up bi-amplifying them in a non-destructive manner, and had to seek out and purchase HQ digital crossovers in the very early nineties to properly electronically time align the tweeter line arrays outputs to the mid/bass cabinets output for best spatial impression imaging.

I’ve only had my XRT20’s for 15 years(!) and finally got around to mounting the tweeter arrays to the mid/bass enclosures.
I picked up 4 pieces of 36” 3/4” square tubing.
The mid/bass enclosures have threaded inserts.
The manual says they require 1/4-20 x 1-1/2” bolts but that wasn’t the case on mine.
I needed 10-32 x 1-1/2 machine screws.
The tweeter arrays were attached to a 2x4 and I attached those to the crossbars with 2” lag bolts.
(Yes, one screw is missing - I got one that was the wrong size).
I hope these will be my forever speakers.
