I came across a fleabay listing that broke my hearth and got me so angry at the same time. It totally sucks to see someone treating these units in such way...just look at the way they rest on the front and rear for the photoshoot. What a freaking moron...obviously a metal recycler that at the same time thinks he is sitting on a pot of gold, yet, when he rests the units on their front faces, particularly the C1 that has so many delicate selectors, is as if he decides to take a dump on the very same "gold" he is trying to market....
he obviously got lucky and found these at the dump, which makes me even angrier at the A$$**le that threw them out in the first place.
also obvious is that these are most likely non repairable and true parts units. At least someone tried to repair them and if they ended up in the dumpster, it was obviously not a successful attempt. See markings on the photos below which indicate some sort of prior service attempt:
