Hi everyone, I have a Yamaha HTR 5940 receiver. I believe it is an U,C model because it has XM feature. The sound plays for a little while and then goes out. It might stay off for 1 minute or up to a half hour or more. I took it to United Radio to get it fixed. They told me that the DSP circuit board is bad and no replacement part available they Yamaha. Does anyone know where I can find a DSP board for this receiver? Thank you for your time and help.

The DSP board is proprietary to Yamaha (they tend to design boards in-house especially during this period of 15+ years ago), and since they are no longer offering service or replacement parts for a unit this old, you'll likely just need to find another working HTR 5940.
