Has anyone heard this guy? I've been intrigued by the last couple TOTL pro amps Yamaha has put out -- the T_n series and the PC_01n series. I have to wonder if these beasts approach the quality of the PC2002M and PC4002M, if not the PC5002M...

I did no thear it but that's what I found in the manual:

".... The cooling fan speed varies depending
on the heat sink temperature: It operates at low speed when
it is below 40 °C (104 °F), increases in speed according to
increases in temperature, and operates at high speed when
temperature exceeds 60 °C (140 °F)...."

So at least in terms of noise emission it will be behind the PCX002s.

I compared the PC4002M extensively to a 3400$ amplifier engineered and manufactured in Germany, I was not able to figure out any sonic differences.
For sure the other amp was capable to drive 1050wpc, nothing we will ever see at home.
