Hi Robert. Stan Sexton in San Diego. I have a 19 I bought new in 1974. It's not been recapped or anything. Still works. Not a lot of hours on it. Do you have a recommendation for recap kits? Thanks. stanathomesell@cox.net
Looking for some help in replacing the LPad on my Altec 800E 16ohm Crossover. If anyone has any good suggestions or a schematic on a good replacement, it would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

800e crossovers do not have an LPad. in the photo you have a selector switch which is wired to act like a Lpad (constant load on the input). I have no idea why you want to replace it but most likely you just need to clean the contacts. if you want to up grade the crossover replace the Caps. but don't change the capacitance.

Unfortunately, Jim, the selector's phenolic plate was brittle and cracked in several places and was not repairable, so cleaning it would not result in anything positive. So, being unable to find a replacement, a 16-ohm LPad from Parts Express was used.

I just checked in. in your shoes I would have done the same. I'm lucky in that there is a couple of old fashion electronic surplus stores near me. I can always find enough parts to rebuild a switch or a pot.
Hi Russ, I'm trying to replace a power meter light and came across a very old thread in the Forum. Per the Mitsubishi parts list the meter bulb is M07115250 but I'm struggling to find anything on the web. Hoping you can point me in the right direction...also have seen advice to upgrade to LED which would be fantastic. The Unit is the DA-M10. Thanks dcohen303 -- Dave
They have never been run in this setting as the Big-D has just granted me my stuff back. I found a new set of spec woof's and was considering changing both out. I was thinking about having you do the crossover mod, combining it with flush mounting and 6.7 owens box dampening.

I've built a couple cb amps in my old days. I know a little about pills, caps, potts, and such. Appreciation though, I'm old school, if you were my neighbor I'd be mowing your lawn.

Let me know how you want to do this and when you are ready. If you want me to mod the crossovers, it cost about $40 - $50 for the parts and return shipping. It's been a while since I did one and I'm sure prices have changed. I'll email you the cabinet damping info I have.

What is your email address?
Anyway, I can upgrade but, unwilling too. It's not about money as much as it is about the speaker. The room they were in was carpet 15x25x8 and now it's vaulted 32x20x12 wood floors.
Hi Dave,
Shaun Shaw here. I've a unique dilemma. One of my Bic DV62si's woofer had a magnet separate from the cage. I bought them in 2003. They are oem, along with the 62clr, 3 M-sr5's in the ceiling and RCA Pro-SW200 sub. Powered by a SA HE-200 6.1 Technics I bought new in 2003. Damn kids, well maybe it was me also but, they had it with out supervision for a while.
Hi Dave,
Just saw that you are retiring from the lamp business. I appreciated the help with lamps for my amps. Best of luck to you and happy trails!
do you have schematics on using LM317 power supply to 2270 tone board? I will like to try to build due to your post about making receiver sound better.
Howdy, Paul. Wondering if you might have any off-line advice before I order. What I'm starting with are one complete set of tubes, nothing fancy. I have an electronics and electrical background but it's mostly computer and industrial. I'm an industrial electrical/electronics and robotics technician so I do know an ohm from a volt but I am buy no means a consumer electronics expert, nor would I ever claim to be.

Hi Mark, Will send you an email this afternoon. The price of those tubes will be pictures of your Shelby's and MC30's. I have about 15 12AD7's and will never use them all. Paul.
Added an SME 3012r tonearm on an Accustand pod. Three tonearms now 1)SME 3012r with Miyajima Zero mono, 2)Origin Live Conqueror mk4 with Hana ML, and Origin Live Enterprise mk4 with Soundsmith Hyperion MR. All feed into the DSA Phono2 preamp.
Is the 2SK Adapter Board by Nshou66 still available?
Are there any newer solutions for the 2SK100 issues?

I still have some.

How many do you need?

I suggest: 1) Obtain the Service Manual with Schematic, 1.1) Take a lot of pictures, 2) Clean and degrease the equipment, 3) Test and Troubleshoot, 4) Build a BOM (Bill Of Materials) needed for Repair & Restore, 4.1) Have a service bench with proper tools and test equipment, 5) Repair & Restore (and lubricate), 5.1) Take pictures of the final work for future maintenance and repair work.
FYI - I have a pair or Lore S (Seas drivers) if that would interest you. Front ported like the regular Lores.
I have 3 pair of Tektons & only 2 ears so I need to move some on. I was waiting until after Labor Day to post them.
My maternal Grandmother was from Hudson. I think Sebunia was her maiden name.... something like that.
I'm near Oconomowoc between Milwaukee & Madison.

Sorry for the delay-I appreciate the offer-I'm doing fine with speakers at the moment. Sure-Hudson is a cool town/area.
Love your new avatar, Conrad,

but: What does it make you now? Conradman? Captain Conrad? Captain Chaos (first name: Conrad)? I'm confused... :)
