I posted this previously in the Speakers sub, and it was mentioned that maybe it would get better attention here.
@Mods, please feel free to merge this thread with the other thread into the Infinity sub.

Hello fellow AKers. I recently acquire a set of these speaker off CL in excellent condition except needing a refoam. I replaced the foam on the drivers and the passive radiators.

Here's an imgur gallery of that process http://imgur.com/gallery/TgdyG

Currently, I am using the speakers in my living room with a Pioneer SX6000.

I was hoping to find a manual to give me some specs and most importantly, tell me about the functionality of the knobs on the back of the crossovers.

Anyone have any idea where to look? Or have any info? My Google searches for a manual came up empty. Hifiengine didn't have anything either.

Thanks in advance.

I check ebay Infinity listings several times a day.
I rarely see Infinity ES series speakers listed. Don't know why but that's been my observation.
Here's something that probably doesn't help much, and you may have already seen it...
http://www.infinity-classics.de/models/Efficiency-series-198x/index-Efficiency.htm

Also, have you tried Google... "Infinity ES 83 speakers audiokarma" ... then click "more results"....that gets some results that may or may not help you.

Thanks for the tip. I usually just use search within the forum menu. Now that you mention it, Google directly at the forum makes lots of sense.

Here's one post that mentions the manual that came with the speakers was useless. Lol

No information on what the knobs do. :(

typically, a single knob allows for some tweeter adjustment. two knobs would allow some midrange and/or tweeter adjustment.

I have the same speakers. Perfect condition too. The knobs are for adjusting the highs. One thing I've noticed is the cabinets to the ES200 are not solidly constructed. The looseness of joints and the gaps had made the speakers sound bad. Just tapping your finger on the side sounded like a drum. To remedy the situation, I removed the base and grills (drivers still in), I used type 3 wood glue to seal every seem and joint (except the drivers and port hole) then clamped it for 24 hours. Afterward I cleaned off what needed, applied touch up paint to the back, etc, then screwed in new screws to attach the base, and put back on the all original grills.
The procedure did make the speakers sound "better". Much better. Sound is tight like a acoustic suspension cabinet but with the openness of having a rear port and gracefull working space for the radiators control.
