Big thank you to LastPlace for hooking me up with this fantastic Dual 721. Enabled me to play an LP for the first time since 1982. Salvation Army find, some TLC, a new cartridge and inspiration from www.fixmydual.com (thanks Bill). A service manual and the proper lubricants and a couple of new capacitors and RCA cables. Some Deoxit and wha-la! Man I thought I was going deaf, the music I've been listening to sounded dead. Thanks all for helping me realize I wasn't loosing my hearing, it's all the compression, clipping, normilization etc. etc. they do to music today. It's like hearing the music for the first time again...
