I need help.

The h312, a 2SK30A in a marantz 2235 a friend gave me for an education for some kid, should be g = .6 v s = 1v d = .02v, but is g = .24v s = .77 d = 9.18 Should I replace it? The drain is supposed to have a 22k ohm resistor, but had a 2.2k. Could that have damaged it? If so, I will pick one up locally.
