In Transition
As a newbie here, I thought I would post a pic of my system. At the top is my "new" Fisher 400-X. It is a restored Fisher 400 modified to run EL-34s in triode mode. It is just about broken in - at least it sounds like it. Below that is an Adcom CD player from way back. I carved a solid maple faceplate for it. Too bad it sounds so crappy. I may try a NAD 541i next. Then comes my trusty Nak CR5 cassette deck for making tapes for the car. Below that is a Naim Nait3 plus power supply. At the moment it is retired and used only when recording tapes. The front speakers are a pair of home made TQWTs using the TangBand W4-616S driver. If I feel the need for more bass, I use the bass drivers of the Naim Credos in the background with a low pass filter from PE.
