KLH help

Finally got some real speakers! $20 KLH 8840 pair in perfect condition. They are powered by a Sony STR DE925 receiver with both front channels (230 watts each). Would anyone have a definitive answer as to if I should switch the ohms to 4 from 8 ohms on the back of the receiver? It’s not bridged.

Nice setup. I love my Bose 301's they really add that sparkle that is missing from my late 70's bohemoth speakers. I bet that setup sounds fantastic. :)

@Rectilinear1 they do compliment each other well as you stated and yes this sounds amazing. I’m re experiencing music I’ve listened to all my life. Nice set up yourself mate!

Why thank you! Yeah, the L-100's in the background proved to be too much for my little 2252B receiver to push on top of the Lowboys so I parked the 301's on top of the lowboys instead. My dad uses 301's on top of his highboys and it sounds fantastic. I am glad to hear you are enjoying your sound. Cheers! :)
