I finally replaced those lousy computer speakers with something a bit better. I pair of Infinty RS-10b's ( the b is for bitchin) with new Dayton shielded woofers. 1 Yamaha CR-840 receiver ( thanks Ward). This system cost me less than $200USD and now makes music listening and DVD watching a pleasurable experience. My wife is NOT happy but I'm ecstatic.

that's gotta sound better than whimpy computer speakers. guess those speakers are shielded, or they'd be messig with your monitor?
